The Corning SMF-28e+ Single Mode fiber is designed for high data rate, long haul, terrestrial, regional, and metropolitan ring networks or for local access and premise applications.  These Corning SMF-28e+ Single Mode fiber has over 15 years of proven performance compared to the SMF-28 optical fiber.  These Corning SMF-28e+ Single Mode fibers eliminates high attenuation in and around the water-peak region (1360nm - 1460nm), thus addressing the transmission potential of full spectrum optical transmission.  Finally, the Corning SMF-28e+ Single Mode fiber enables optical transmission throughout the entire single-mode operating window and and is optimized for 16+ channel coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) networks.

Price is for 100 meters of cable.  This cable is compliant with the new International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standards for low water-peak fibers, ITU G.652.C, as well as Telecommunications Industry Association and Electronic Industries Alliance (TIA/EIA) standards.
